Grey Bull Rescue has just returned from ops in Latin America responding to the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela, where over 3,000 lives were lost. Our team of Operators, along with our established network throughout the region, delivered tons of humanitarian aid and conducted a series of operations. We are being a touch guarded about sharing details of these missions post-Operation: GOLDEN DYNAMITE - the extraction of Maria Corina Machado - given the geopolitical sensitivities and security concerns.

The missions to save lives today are only possible because of the generous donors who took action yesterday.

Which is an excellent segue to announce our Stars, Stripes, & Saving Lives Gala in Tampa on October 16, 2026.

While the gala will be fun, it is not about celebration. The fundraiser is designed to raise money for our mission to save lives at the SPEED OF NEED.    

Because the next call isn't a matter of if… It's when.

Mission Update: Venezuela

Operating from our Forward Staging Base in Curaçao, off the coast of Venezuela, Grey Bull Rescue deployed in response to the earthquake to conduct Search & Rescue evacuation operations and support the delivery of needed humanitarian aid.

The need for humanitarian aid became immense. Political barriers slowed the movement of relief supplies, plus aftershocks, extreme heat, criminal activity, and an increasingly unstable security environment. Those issues, combined with our notoriety within the current regime of Venezuela, made ops and security challenging, to say the least.   

Our team stayed focused on what we do best: saving lives at the SPEED OF NEED.

For the first time in Grey Bull Rescue team’s 811-mission history, we conducted missions in an area where the U.S. military was also deployed. Our team was even lodging in the same location as U.S. Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen. This was a first for us, and it was… interesting.      

As resources came pouring in from all over the world, the operational space became crowded. We reacted appropriately, allowing the U.S. military to lead while continuing to support relief efforts.

Our operators returned home to regroup and refit. We remain postured throughout the region should conditions, especially the security situation, deteriorate.

What Comes Next Starts Now

Missions begin with trained operators ready to deploy, aircraft on standby, secure communications already in place, intelligence networks already established, equipment sourced and packed, and the needed resources ready to move at the SPEED OF NEED.

We're excited to announce the Grey Bull Rescue Stars, Stripes, & Saving Lives Gala and fundraiser. The gala will surely be a great time; however, this is about the mission. Operations. Purpose. Saving lives.

Hosted at the amazing Motor Enclave in Tampa, Florida, this isn’t your regular black-tie gala with rubber chicken. It's an invitation into the world of daring, “behind enemy lines” rescue missions - forged through over 800 lifesaving operations all over the world.

Guests will be able to interact with rescue vehicles, Navy SEAL assault boats, specialized helicopters, command & control vehicles, and other command assets that Grey Bull Rescue deploys to save Americans anytime, anywhere.  Joining us will be dozens of evacuees, survivors, rescued hostages, and more, in addition to our elite team of Operators, Case Managers, and staff.
