On this Thanksgiving, we all have much to be thankful.

If you are reading this, you are not held hostage, you are not kidnapped, you are not being human-trafficked, you are not trapped in war zone with closed airspace, you are not in the middle of a natural disaster.

Perhaps you were in a bad spot, and Grey Bull Rescue saved you or a loved one’s life. Be thankful this Thanksgiving.

Maybe you are a donor who has fueled our missions. Be thankful you had the means and the courage to support our team and save lives.

Possibly, you are just a proud fan and supporter of our work. Be thankful that you have not had to deal with the pain, agony, and fear that it is to be held at risk by guns, war, missiles, terrorists, gangs, cartels, criminals, or even mother nature…all of which Grey Bull Rescue has fought (and won) against this year. 

No matter who you are or your level of support, what I know for sure is that, if you are able to read this you are doing better than the 343 Americans we rescued from Jamaica (OPN: ISLAND CROSS), or the dozens held in Syria (OPN: GRAHAM CRACKER), or the thousands of Americans we rescued from the Israel-Iran war (OPN: OLIVE SHIELD), and the many other missions we have conducted. As we saved these lives, these THOUSANDS of Americans could not read a newsletter. They could not support, in fact they NEEDED support.

On this Thanksgiving, we all have much to be thankful for as so many Americans are in turmoil. As you read this, Grey Bull Rescue has over a dozen open cases of Americans kidnapped, missing, held hostage, and worse. The world is increasingly more dangerous, demanding the need for large evacuations of Americans from all over the world.

If you pray, please pray for the Americans who remain at risk that we are trying to rescue. If you pray, please pray for their families who try and live day to day in pain. If you pray, pray for the brave team of patriots at Grey Bull Rescue who are deployed in silence all over the world as you read this.

As we close out 2025, we reflect on a year marked with war and disaster - where we operated in Europe, the Middle-East, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. We know that our prayers for a calm 2026 are simply not likely to be answered.
