Grey Bull Rescue Completes Massive Epic Evacuation - 343 Americans from Hurricane on Day One

Grey Bull Rescue deployed to Jamaica and got boots on ground day ONE. Our team was first in Kingston, then opened up the runway at Montego Bay, which was severely hit!! Cat 5 Hurricane Melissa’s impact on Jamaica was catastrophic, and as always, our team was saving lives at the SPEED OF NEED!!
In under 24 hours from when our 12-man team was FIRST IN on a small PC-12 aircraft to Montego Bay, to wheels up leaving on Airbus A320 - we evacuated over 340 Americans trapped with no power, no communication, no roads, and worse. SPEED OF NEED!!!
Team Alpha, based out of Montego Bay, and Team Bravo set conditions to receive in Kingston with full advanced paramedic teams, from Black Flag Response, as well as Starlink comms at both bases. The Field Ops teams operated on damaged runways, braved flooded terrain and buildings, and navigated dangerous conditions to rescue and evacuate the more than 340 Americans trapped in the storm’s aftermath.
This operation was time sensitive, with the Americans totally cut off as a result of both the damage of the hurricane and also because they were without power and communications. They couldn’t even ask for help, let alone get help….that’s where Grey Bull Rescue brave warriors stepped in.
These operations require precision, teamwork, actual skill and experience — and resources.
Just one charter aircraft can exceed $200,000, and we needed two. Our cost per person was under $1,400!!
A small price to save a life from a Cat 5 hurricane in the jungles of Jamaica to Tampa. Not only are we the best at what we do, but we are also cost-effective.
Now we need YOU to be the next part of our team. We need donations to help with this mission. Every dollar you give helps us launch faster, fly farther, and save more lives at the SPEED OF NEED!!
