OPERATIONAL IMPACT: FOUR YEARS AT THE SPEED OF NEED
Because of you—your donations, your unwavering support, and your patriotism—Grey Bull Rescue has been able to continue saving lives at the Speed of Need. Your generosity fuels every mission we launch, every evacuation we lead, and every life we bring home safely. From disaster zones to war zones around the world, your support makes it possible for our ops teams to respond wherever Americans are in danger. Two years ago, hundreds of hostage families started their more than two years nightmare of pain, anger, fear, desperation, frustration, and hopelessness. While we all remember October 7th, it was the day after that began the huge suffering of reality. It was two years ago, the world started to really learn of the horrors of the brutality of the attack of Hamas on October 7th. Innocent civilian men, women, children, and babies were murdered, injured, raped and of course taken hostage in an attack of unprecedented savagery. Nearly 1,200 lives were lost, and more than 250 people from 71 countries—including many Americans—were abducted and held captive. Many remain in captivity to this day. Everyone at Grey Bull Rescue prays every day for the immediate release of all hostages, living or not, to their families. As the chaos unfolded in a new and changed world filled with uncertainty, our brave ops team led by Bryan Stern deployed immediately to get boots on ground. Our team leapt into action amid the violence to evacuate Americans trapped in the conflict zone. With the support of Governor Ron DeSantis, then State Senator Jay Collins, Bryan Stern and the team at Grey Bull Rescue led the largest single rescue of Americans from conflict, successfully evacuating and safely flying 293 U.S. citizens to Tampa, Florida. On the day of the evacuation, our small team of elite Intelligence and Special Operations Veterans with 293 Americans came under Hamas missile fire en route to the aircraft, with the Iron Dome air defense system active overhead. Every evacuee—including many frightened American children—was terrified. We were nervous too, but we had one mission: get our people home safely. And we did. As we reflect on the operation, our pictures and videos are hard to watch. But the video of Bryan leading the Americans down the stairs of the plane to Governor DeSantis fills us with pride. Not only did we rescue Americans from Israel, but Gaza too, including five Americans kidnapped in Gaza in an unprecedented operation sponsored by Congresswoman Laurel Lee (R-FL). We remain the only team that has had boots on the ground from day one—and, in many cases, weeks before—across nearly 800 global operations. And the work has not stopped in the Middle-East. Over the last two years, we have conducted rescue missions in Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria. This past June, Grey Bull Rescue once again mobilized—this time with Lieutenant Governor Jay Collins embedded in our team —to rescue and evacuate nearly 2,000 Americans during the Iranian missile attacks on Israel which ended with President Trump bombing Iranian nuclear sites. Once again, our team was under direct missile fire, this time from Iran. Since October 7th, the entire region became embroiled in the conflict started by Hamas and sponsored by Iran and its proxies. We have rescued Americans held captive, we have worked against Hamas, Hizbollah, Iran, ISIS, the remnants of the Assad regime, and on and on. And we won. In all this victory, many hostages were executed, many more have died in captivity, and over 20 remain in captivity. So we should not celebrate as their families remain suffering. Since our founding in August 2021, we have never stopped rescuing Americans in trouble—and we never will. Because of you, our donors, supporters, and partners—we are able to remember, respond, and rescue. We remember. We act. We save lives—at the Speed of Need. Reflecting on what we have done: • September 2021 – Afghanistan First civilian aircraft out of Kabul, rescuing 117 Americans, including 59 children, from Taliban control left behind after the failed withdrawal of Afghanistan. • September 2022 – Hurricane Ian (Florida) Hundreds rescued by a flotilla of boats and jet skis to rescue hundreds from the barrier islands near Ft. Myers on Day 1 of the hurricane. • October 2023 – Israel The team had just come home from doing helicopter rescues in Maui. We had no idea October 7th was about to happen, launching the Middle East into chaos, which led to hundreds of operations for stranded Americans from Israel, Gaza, Lebanon & Syria. The team rescued hundreds, including five American hostages, from Gaza. • September 2024 – Hurricanes Helene & Milton in Tampa and North Carolina. Grey Bull Rescue conducted hundreds of air, land, and maritime operations, saving the lives of hundreds trapped in floods, fire, and all-out destruction. • June 2025 - Iranian Missile Attacks on Israel The team deployed to Israel and conducted the rescue of almost 2000 Americans. By buses, maritime and plane. • July 2025 - Operation: GRAHAM CRACKER the daring rescue of three Americans trapped in the Bedouin war in Syria sponsored by Senator Lindsay Graham. Grey Bull Rescue is high-octane AMERICA with unwavering non-negotiable values. We are not just real. We are as real as it gets. And we can prove it !! THANK YOU FOR STANDING WITH US. DONOR & EVENT HIGHLIGHT: STANDING TOGETHER WITH MURPHY AUTO GROUP
A Heartfelt Thank You to Murphy Auto Group – Nearly $20,000 Raised! THANK YOU, MIKE MURPHY! This past weekend, Genesis of Tampa celebrated its Grand Opening and selected Grey Bull Rescue as their featured nonprofit for Military Appreciation Month — and we were truly honored to be presented with a check for $20,000! This incredible gift comes on top of the Murphy Auto Group’s continued generosity, which made possible the creation of “SHERMAN,” our Amphibious Rescue Vehicle. We had the privilege of speaking at the event, with a warm introduction from Mike Murphy himself, and debuting our new Command Centre Trailer — making Grey Bull Rescue even more ready to respond in disaster response! ( And if you know anyone with an RV… send them our way!) | ![]() ![]() |
